Two years ago the Japaneses perfected a synthetic blood known as Tru Blood that was meant for transfusions when blood supplies are low. Once the market of vampires was known to the Japanese they began bottling the synthetic blood for sale. This lead to vampires letting their existence known to the rest of the world in an event that has come to be known as "coming out of the coffin", an event that became known as The Great Revelation.
During the goings on in the books/tv series of True Blood, another story took place, farther north...in Michigan. Vampires and other super natural beings are being kidnapped by an unknown organization for an underground fight ring. Stay safe, stay alive, and remember...Drink responsibly...

Long Day's end « Thread Started on Mar 19, 2009, 10:56am »
Keith sighed to himself as he went through a large stack of papers on his desk. His office door was open, students of all ages were passing by, some glancing in, some not. This time of the year was always murder on a teacher...Midterms AND a nice day outside...well, it was a nice day, darkness was approaching fast.
As he read over one of the what seemed to be 100 papers his phone went off. A slight growl escaped his throat as he picked up his phone to read "Don't forget, my place, tonight" from his uncle.
"Of course that would be tonight." He muttered to himself, knowing there's no way he can get out of changing tonight.

Her bag hanging on her shoulder loosely, her paper had been late. She had been caught up in the library finishing it, and goofing off with a few friends. She wasn't sure if her teacher would buy any excuse she gave for it being late, but she ran down the hall anyway. Knocking on the open door, she came in and put her paper down. Without a pause, "Sorry..." She had a puzzled look, and wasn't sure what-else to say.

As he read a particularly boring paper Keith glanced up to the clock, only 10 more minutes before he was aloud to leave...But then came a knock on his door. His head instantly turned to spot one of his favorite students...Sadly not because of her school work, infact, he was expecting her paper to be late, but because of everything else about her.
He couldn't help smiling as he set the papers down, getting up to greet her. "Well, " he paused glancing at the watch on his phone, "I see no reason for apologies considering this was due before the end of class, and if I'm not mistaken there's classes going on at the moment." He said with a smile...She even smelled beautiful...Too bad she was a student...
