The night was young, and this particular vampire was ready to feed. Myra's skin was pale as she walked into the Fox Club, showing that she was hungry. She knew she could have just gone to the vamp club over the Irish pub....But that would have meant less people with eyes on her...No, if she was surrounded by humans then they'd all want a look at the vampire.
She wore all black, from her combat boots all the way up to her smoky eye shadow. A leather trench coat hung open on her, showing off the cleavage her tank top gave her. As she moved through the bar she looked around, soaking in all the looks as she entered. A smirk crossed her face before sitting down to the bar.
"I'll have an A negative." She stated to the bar tender, not bothering to ask if they even carried the synthetic blood, let alone the type she preferred.
"You have to heat it up right?" Asked the 20-something young man behind the bar...Not all humans were exactly well versed in the serving of blood. "Yes." She answered rather annoyed before looking around the bar, already bored.

The Job was simple. Break in to the small cabin in the woods, flinch some encrypted data from the Main computer and get the f**k out of there. But no it had to be screwed up. The tech he was required to work with screwed up and tripped the security on the not so unsuspecting owners. The mission was shot to hell, as was the tech, whom caught a gunshot straight threw the chest. Max managed to escape how ever and slipped on in to the first densely populated area that he could. The Fox Club
Once within the building he moved around with relative ease despite being dressed in clothes that were clearly not fit for clubbing. Black running pants with a lose black shirt that barley hid the nine millimetre that he had hidden down the front of his pants. “Scotch on the rocks. Actually make that a double.” He said as he finally reached the bar. His eyes flashing over the room and for an instant landed on the vampire beside him before moving on as if to believe that she was of little importance to him.

Once the bartender set the synthetic blood in front of her she took the bottle and took a sip. As the blood swirled in her mouth she tasted a cold spot, displeased she spit the drink out with a very displeased look on her face. The poor boy behind the bar immediately turned to Myra looking rather scared. She just simply placed a thumb over the opening to the bottle to shake it up a bit, making sure that it would not happen again. She noticed the fear on the boy's face and just smiled. "Next time shake it up to avoid cold and hot spots." She said in a surprisingly kind tone, more like she was giving advice then scolding him.
"Umm.. I'm sorry?" He offered, still rather scared. She just laughed a bit and shook her head. "Don't worry about it...Just remember next time ok?"
She then turned to the man who sat next to her, looking him over as he did her, but in the same way, paid him little attention before going back to her bottled blood, taking another sip..This time, swallowing it. She was impressed with his bravery, he was the only one willing to set next to her, and for that she had to give him props.

The scotch was quickly delivered and Max soon downed it in a single mouth full his eyes not once travelling back to the lush young female next to him. not as he looked over the crowd as a hunter would. As if looking for his prey.
It was only a moment after that in which his Cell rang and he swift answered it. "Sir it was a set up they were ready for us." he said before even looking at the id. "Yes I know the king wont be pleased but we got played for fools. So we do the three F's Face it Fix it then f**k them over for thinking they could possibly mess with us and get away with it." he said before pausing yet again "no Sir he is dead.... Gun shot to the head. Clean kill."
“Understood sir.” He said again before finally closing the cell up and stuffing it back into his pocket. He knew if this particular employer was calling then there was most certainly no trouble near by. So it was with a long deep sigh that he turned on back towards his drink.

Hearing the mention of the word "king" Myra perked up, looking right to the man next to her. She slowly put the bottle down before supernaturally quickly moving behind Max, placing both hands on either side of him, resting on the bar. "It would be wise for you not to mention my king aloud in a public place." She whispered, advising in a more threatening tone. Her eyes quickly darted around the room, scanning it for anyone who might have possibly heard him on the phone.
"You obviously know our inner workings. Which means you know what happens to those who reveal our secrets to the general public." She threatened before sitting back down.

"if it is other humans your worried about don’t be" he said as he glanced over his shoulder at her for but a moment before adjusting his position slightly and reaching for his next glass of scotch. "None of them are even paying attention to me well they were not till you decided to pay attention to me."
"If you had kept your mouth shut the risks would have been negligible." he said as he spun around on his seat to look up in to her eyes. Fear obviously devoid from his eyes.

Myra looked around...he was right. Everyone was looking at the two...More so, at her. She's always been one to let her anger get the best of her. She was lucky no one had listened to the conversation he had on the phone. "All they know is I'm a vampire...Which is obvious to begin with on account of the choice of drink. And that I have some kind of issue with you." She replied in a low voice for only Max to hear.
She took another sip of her blood, looking rather irritable now. "So what's your business with us?" She asked rather agrivated the king didn't chose a vampire for the job.

“I am a mercenary I work for whoever pays me. And at the moment its a man who claim to represent the him." he said as he flicked a hand to the bar keep and ordered an a neg for her again. "Weather he does or does not is of little concern to me as long as I am paid in a timely fashion."
It was then that he gave her a good look over. One that told her that he liked what he saw. "So why is it that a Vampire is hanging here in a human night club? Surly there is an all vamp club somewhere around this place?"

Myra raised a brow as she watched him order her another blood. "Sure there is...If I feel like driving up to Detroit." She answered as she finished off the blood she ordered. "But you didn't answer my question...What's your business with us?" She repeated herself.

"Actually I did you just did not listen" he said as he smiled for a moment and sipped away at his drink. "I am a merc and I was hired by a vampire I can tell you nothing more then that after all it would constitute a break in my contract"
There was yet another pauses as he finished the last of his drink. "Surly one that is so security contuse can appreciate that?"

"So...The king doesn't know you're working for him...I should kill you right now for that." She stated before calmly taking a sip of her blood. "And I'm not concerned with security...Just the wellbeing of my people. I should have known the king wouldn't be foolish enough to hier a human."
She paused looking around. "You just be more careful with words next time...Or you might find yourself in a bit more trouble then just talking to a vampire in some bar."
